School Meals

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

(1 Corinthians 10-31)

Our school meals are cooked on the premises in our own school kitchen. There is a choice of menu. The cost of a school meal is £2.20 per day. There are generous allowances for free school meals. No distinction is made between children who have a free meal and those who pay. If you wish to claim this or some other benefit which is available please contact the Education Welfare Office:

Dinner money is payable in advance on Friday mornings. Please put the correct amount in a container clearly marked with your child's name and class. If payments are not met, reminders are sent which could result in children having to bring a packed lunch until the balance is paid, in accordance with our School Charging Policy. The current menu is available from school or by clicking here Children may bring a packed lunch which is eaten in the same room as those having a school meal. Parents are asked to refrain from sending fizzy drinks or anything in a glass bottle or can for safety reasons. Guidelines for what constitutes a healthy packed lunch are regularly sent home and also available by clicking this link. If pupils wish to change from school meals to packed lunch, two weeks notice must be given. Pupils may go home for lunch if the parents wish.

FRIDAY FAVOURITES:

On Friday's your child has the option to have a school lunch. This can be taken on an as and when basis and does not need to be booked in advance. £2.20 should be brought into school on that day.
